Mojitos My Way (Lower Sugar)

– 1 lime, halved (about 2.5 tablespoons of juice)
– about 12 mint leaves
– 1 teaspoon honey or coconut sugar (optional)
– 1.5 jiggers rum (75 mL, or 5 tablespoons)
– crushed ice to fill glass
– 4 to 5 ounces seltzer water


1. Squeeze both halves of lime into 16 ounce glass. Muddle with mint leaves and honey or coconut sugar (if using sweetener).
2. Add rum. Fill glass with crushed ice. Add 4 to 5 ounces seltzer water and stir. Enjoy immensely!
