
Cinnamon Maple-Glazed Pecans
- 1 large egg white
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pound whole pecans
- Whisk egg white for one minute, until frothy. Combine remaining ingredients through salt, stirring well. Add pecans and stir to coat.
- Spoon pecans onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 225 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven; stir to separate pecans and cool completely. Store or prepare to gift in mason jars.
These slightly sweet pecans make a great holiday or hostess gift packaged in a mason jar with a festive ribbon. I like to add them to salads and oatmeal, or snack on them as is!
