Blackened Fish Seasoning

  • 1 1/2 t. paprika
  • 1 t. garlic powder
  • 1 t. oregano
  • 1/2 t. cumin
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. brown sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 t. cayenne (more or less, to taste)


Combine all ingredients and store in a small mason jar.

Simply sprinkle this seasoning on any fish before baking, broiling or panfrying. But my favorite way to use this seasoning is in flavorful Blackened Tuna Salad Lettuce Wraps.
