Oatmeal 1-2-3

  • 1/2 cup of whole oats
  • water to cover oats (about 1/4 cup)
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of salt


  1. Pour oatmeal into microwave-safe bowl. Add water to cover oatmeal. Stir in dashes of cinnamon and salt.
  2. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  3. Consider adding 1 tablespoon peanut butter, or fresh fruit with 1 teaspoon maple syrup. Stir in milk of choice, if desired.
